The photograph’s power as a narrative tool is derived from the impression that what is captured within the frame is an accurate representation of what actually occurred at a specific moment in time. As complete or comprehensive as any narrative may appear to be, it will always be subject to a process of including some elements and excluding others. These inclusions and exclusion are a crucial part of what photographic storytelling is all about – What is being presented within the frame to the viewer – and what is being left out or left to the viewer’s imagination. A passing score for the Praxis Art Content exam is considered to be 158 in most states. It will tell you what the test focuses on and how many of each type of question you can expect.

You must also ensure that no people will enter the room during your exam. The proctor will ask you to move the camera around so that your testing area can be observed. At the end of your exam, the proctor will watch as you erase any notes you made. As a state-approved certification program for the state of Maryland, the Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T. ) program at MICA requires the completion of all teaching certification requirements prior to graduation.

The Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation supports representational artists emerging artists who demonstrate a commitment to a lifelong career in the arts. The Praxis Subject Assessment exam is a content area exam accepted for meeting content competency requirements for certain Colorado endorsements. 2.0 – A website where artists can review galleries, art fairs, and mail scams that take advantage of artists by charging them or being an outright rip-off. To submit you must be at least 21 years of age and there is a $15 fee for entry.
