In the MRI exam, you receive most questions from this section as it has many sub-topics. Center for Allied Health Education has put into place several clinical affiliations to easily enable students to acquire some or all of the mandatory MRI competencies to sit for the ARRT exam. Clinical rotations may be completed on weekdays or over the weekend.
As a result, all mandatory didactic requirements take place during evening hours and once a week. Additionally, students should be prepared to allocate approximately 1-2 hours/ week towards completing required homework/quiz assignments for each class. MRI certification is one of the many credentials offered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). The certification allows you to become an MRI technologist, operating the magnetic resonance imaging tools to create accurate pictures of internal anatomical or physiological conditions. As an MRI tech, you’ll also be trained on how to soothe patients while they use the machine in order to create more effective images. We designed our MRI registry review to be interactive and don’t expect you to read hundreds of pages.

Shout out to our instructor Dr. Vaccari who made the class real… I thought the entire process from registration to actually getting on the zoom was easy. I really enjoyed the material and the way it was taught. Other than that, you look and study lots of biology of the patients which is hard to understand through books or online courses. Other than that, some clinical centers provide premium education to the student and ensure that they pass the MRI test. It would be utterly tough for you to perceive the topics and pass the post-test questions.
Do your programs meet the new ARRT 16 hour didactic requirement?
StudyGuidelines offer additional information not found in the StudyModules and provide you with guidance back to the specific section that you need to study further. When you complete these programs and pass the test, you become a certified MRI technologist and relish a much higher salary. Since learning MRI through study guides/books and operating an MRI practically in an MRI school is different things. The MRI school allows you to do things with your hands and see how the actual overall process works. In our clinical education area, simulated situations have been created to help you understand and practice important concepts needed for an MRI technologist.
We make it easy for you to prepare for your exam which is why our MRI mock registry exam is modeled as close to the actual test as possible. More than 200 multiple-choice questions help prepare you for the national registry examination. There are a grand total of 220 questions on the ARRT MRI certification exam, but only 200 are scored. The vast majority (105, to be exact) are on the topic of image production. In order to pass, you’ll also need to correctly answer questions on procedures (neurological, musculoskeletal, and body types), screening and safety, and proper patient care. Since 2007, Advanced Imaging Review has helped to grow the radiology profession by preparing medical imaging professionals for the next step of their careers.
