The NACE I Foundations of Nursing ensures you have the knowledge necessary to be successful in a challenging RN program, so the exam is challenging. We have developed the resources you need to streamline your efforts. We have a thorough and concise study guide, memory-enhancing flashcards, and an online practice test designed to make the most of your actions. This letter can be emailed to the Dean of Health Professions and Natural Sciences, faxed, or brought to the Nursing Department in person. If the student chooses to email or fax their letter of acceptance, they should follow up by calling the Nursing Department to make sure it was received. In the event that the student does not plan to enroll, they need to notify the institution so that an alternate student may have the slot.
The practice exam consists of 45 questions that are based on the entry level Cathodic Protection Body of Knowledge (BOK), which is common in the CP industry. The 50 multiple-choice questions are based on the Coating Inspector body of knowledge and are intended for practice and preparation purposes only. Flashcards, outlines, and reviewing the content with a study buddy can all help you achieve a passing score.
The National League of Nursing has instituted strict “no cheating” guidelines. Students caught violating the policy will be disqualified from their current and all future exams. Violations of the policy include copying information from other students, using an electronic device such as a mobile phone to obtain test information, and providing or receiving test answers. You should consult the entire National League of Nursing guidelines for a complete set of rules. While you might think of them as just another study tool in your arsenal, they’re far more powerful than your standard flashcards or chapter outlines. Practice tests help you determine how you’d fare if the exam were happening today. The results can point out blind spots in your understanding of important concepts and inspire you to study them more thoroughly. Instead of late night cram sessions in the library the day before your NACE exam, try distributing the time you intend to spend on test prep throughout the week. An hour a day for a week can be so much more effective than a single marathon seven hour study session.
